The press has also reported extensively on us. Especially in the period following the landmark ruling by the European Court of Justice in 2012, the trade in used software was a major topic in the media. At that time, it was ruled that used software—regardless of how it was acquired—may be resold. This was a breakthrough because, since then, software licenses distributed exclusively via download have also been permitted to be traded without requiring the manufacturer’s consent. And, of course, as software resellers, we had something to say about this as well. Our CEO, Stefan Tauchhammer, was interviewed on this topic on numerous occasions, and we don’t want to withhold this information from our customers.
