Buy Used Microsoft Office Volume Licenses
Buy Microsoft Office
Along with Windows licenses, Microsoft Office licenses are our most in-demand product. And for good reason—the Office suites are perfectly tailored for business use, requiring minimal training and offering many productivity enhancements. Here you’ll find an overview of the key factors companies consider when choosing an Office package and release version.
An important question to consider is whether you need to purchase the current (and therefore most expensive) version, or whether a less expensive previous version, such as Office 2021 or 2019, would be sufficient for your needs. This decision will also need to take into account Microsoft’s official end of support (see below). If you currently own an Office 2021 license, read our article “Office 2021 vs. Office 2024” to find out whether an upgrade is worth it or not.
It’s also important to consider which programs in the suite you need. For example, if you need Microsoft Access, you’ll have to choose Office Professional.
You can get the following versions of Office at Software ReUse at a significantly lower price
At Software ReUse, you’ll find many Office releases at prices up to 75% lower. Thanks to excess inventory from large corporations and bankruptcies, we’re also able to offer the latest versions at significantly lower prices.
On our product pages, you’ll find important information about licensing and features of Office 2024 Professional Plus, Microsoft Office 2021, Microsoft Office 2019 Professional Plus, Microsoft Office 2016 Professional Plus, Microsoft Office 2016, Microsoft Office 2013.

Office Compatibility with Windows and Server Releases
Compatibility is an important issue for you—for example, starting with Microsoft Office 2019, Windows 7 and 8 are no longer supported, and only Windows Server 2019 is supported. Please check in advance whether you are still using these older operating systems.

Is it worth making the switch?
Used Office License vs. New License
When you purchase Microsoft software with what is known as “Software Assurance,” you generally receive all update versions released during that three-year period. In exchange, you typically pay nearly double the original price and receive a total of two releases, depending on the update cycle.
If, on the other hand, you buy Office secondhand, you’ll pay significantly less than the list price, there are no annual Software Assurance fees, and you aren’t forced to install a new version that might not fit into your company’s internal update cycle anyway.
Which type of license is right for your business?
There are several distribution models for Microsoft Product Key Cards (PKCs), OEMs, and volume licenses. We recommend that businesses use volume licenses without exception. Why?
- After registration, PKCs are linked to a Microsoft customer account.
- You receive a separate product key for each license, which involves a significant administrative burden.
- In addition, there are further restrictions on their use and transfer to other devices.
With volume licenses, Software ReUse provides you with a single MAK and KMS key, including all documentation required for a license transfer that complies with EU law. This saves you a significant amount of administrative work and also represents a substantial savings compared to the original price.
Using a Terminal Server – Which Purchase Licenses Are Appropriate?
Microsoft only allows the use of volume licenses on the terminal server. You can choose between Office Professional Plus and Office Standard. PKC or OEM licenses for Office may not be used on the terminal server, as these are always tied to a specific device.

Save money or not? It’s up to you!
An important factor in your purchasing decision will be the duration of support, including security updates. Microsoft has shortened the support period for Office 2019, which is why many customers prefer to buy used Office 2016 licenses. Plus, depending on how old the release is, you can save up to 75% off the original price. Software doesn’t age, and you have the same rights as if you’d bought it new!
We hope we’ve been able to give you a good overview of the different versions of Microsoft Office. You can find more details on the respective product pages.
