What does LTSC stand for? LTSC stands for “Long Term Servicing Channel” and was developed for businesses that do not require Microsoft’s “Software as a Service” model (i.e., Software Assurance). These are streamlined enterprise versions that include less frequent feature updates. Used licenses without Software Assurance
As a general rule, used software licenses do not come with Software Assurance—and that’s not the only reason they’re significantly cheaper. Software Assurance offers you virtually no advantages over the standard retail version, especially with Windows 11 Professional.
Security Updates for Used Windows?
With Windows 11 Professional and Enterprise LTSC, you are also entitled to free security updates during the support period.
Of course, there are even older versions, such as Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB, Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC, Windows 10 Professional, or Windows 7.
